    I absolutely love the Omni shade because I am always drawn to warm toned eyeshadows. I didn’t expect to love Cassio as I tend to be a bit shy around the cooler tones, but this is beautiful! I am super excited to try this one out. It could be the shade to get me to the cool side.

    These shadows have a stunning cream texture that smooths over the lips effortlessly. You can use fingers or a brush. I found that applying with a finger and then blending out the edges with a fluffy brush is the best way to do a super quick eye look.

    I don’t think I have anything else like this in my collection. It looks fab all over the lid as well as smudged into the waterline. It is such a versatile product.

    This is a velvet finish liquid lipstick. They have a lovely smooth texture that dries down to a blurry soft matte finish. It is highly pigmented and contains moisturisers to soften the lips. There are 4 shades:

    • Pops – poppy red

    This red is absolutely stunning! I actually first tried it without a scrap of other makeup and I loved it instantly. This surprised me because I usually need to have a very prepped and perfected complexion to make a red look good, but this shade is so forgiving. I will share a photo of it on soon.

    The texture is soft and smooth and doesn’t feel drying. It feels fairly similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvet. It has a lovely blurred out finish which has a very flattering effect and it fades nice and evenly without going patchy.

    All in all, this is such a brilliant collection of easy to apply and wear pieces. Well done Sam. I love everything.

    My Review

    As I am not really that brave when it comes to brows, I had a very gentle go with the Clove shade. Even though this is the darker option, it actually applies much more lightly onto the brow area than it does when you swatch it, so it is pretty hard to go wrong.

    It is important to make sure that you store the pens with the nib facing down to keep the ink flowing, or else it can dry up really quickly. This means you will have to store it at home rather than carrying it around in your handbag, but as it it so long lasting, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

    I tested some swatches overnight on my hand, and the fine strokes held true all night. The formula definitely delivers on its smudge-resistant long wear claim. In fact, I needed to use a proper cleanser to remove the swatches from my skin, even after hours of wearing it. Impressive!

    I think this is great for a lovely subtly defined brow that looks really natural and doesn’t look at all done.

    My Review

    These are really nice liquid eyeshadows with great applicators that make them quite versatile. I am not entirely sure why they are named Eye-Blusher because I do feel that this texture and format is definitely better suited to eye shadow than as a blush. Having said that, I haven’t tried using one as a blush, so I will have to try that when I am not going anywhere and report back.

    With the Lancome Idole Tint Liquid Eye-Blusher, I definitely think that the innovation is in the applicator which means you can use the colours as an all over shadow, and also just as easily as a more precise liner.

    The shade range is really lovely. I only have two of them – 01 Sunburst and 03 Hot Lava – but they are both beautiful. They have a soft shimmer but aren’t high shine. The staying powder is really good and they are both brilliant as one and done shades, and if you want to get more graphic you can use them like liners.

    Once you have applied this, make sure you work quickly if you want to blend it out because it dries pretty quickly. You don’t get a lot of playtime but this fact pays off when it comes to its long wear. Once it dries down, it doesn’t really move.

    If you are looking for something with a similar but sheerer finish, and added skincare and anti-ageing benefits, then I must recommend something from my own brand, REESON.     How to use it

    For the first use. you will need to remove the protective cap before application.

    You then twist up the product a touch and apply straight to the face or on to a brush, then the skin for a more subtle finish.

    If applying straight to the skin from the stick, make sure you blend it out immediately, as once it dries, you won’t be able to blend it out.

    These new cheek and lip stains from Milk are super playful and fun and I can see why they are getting a lot of attention.

    The shades are really pretty and from what I can see from the US Milk site, so far the most popular shade in the US is Burst, which is a pink. From what I am hearing online in the UK, the coral shade Spritz could be the most popular one here.

    Apart from the shades, the texture of the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint is obviously the most interesting thing about this new launch. They have the most fun, real jelly feel, and it looks and feels so much like real jelly that they have actually placed a warning on the website that the products are not edible! This is probably tongue in cheek, because even though Milk does have a younger audience, I wouldn’t expect anyone to actually try and eat them (except for maybe a viral TikTok video attempt!).

    The jelly texture feels really watery and cooling on the skin, and the colour swipes on really easily for instant colour payoff. A word of warning: this formula dries extremely fast, so make sure you blend straight away.

    It is a nice long lasting formula as it is more of an stain than a traditional blush. This makes it nice for lips too, and I’d suggest applying to lips and then adding a balm or gloss over the top for added hydration and shine.

    If you are reapplying on the go, I’d definitely recommend using a brush to blend, otherwise you could end up with stained fingertips. The stain does mainly come off with a wipe or a wash, but that won’t be super convenient when you’re out and about.
