I am really loving using lip liner at the moment. I feel like I am in my lip pencil era!! So I was super excited to discover the brand new Hourglass Shape and Sculpt Lip Liner which comes in seven shades. Here’s what you need to know with photos and swatches.

There are seven shades in the collection. They are:

How to use it
To shape and sculpt the lips: choose a shade that is 1-2 shades deeper than your natural lip colour.
To create fuller-looking lips: choose a neutral shade that’s similar to your natural lip colour and use gently line about your natural lip line until you reach the corner of the mouth. Repeat for bottom lip.
My Review
These liners have a really nice formula and are definitely long lasting. When I did the swatches, I left them on my arm to see how well they wore, and they didn’t budge.
So far I have road tested Expose, which is a lovely nude, and lasted really well on the lips. I used it with the new Hourglass Unlocked Soft Matte Lipstick in shade Tulip, and I love that combination. I will share swatches of the new lipsticks really soon.
The texture of the liner is really easy to work with and it glides really nicely on to the lips without pulling the skin. The colour payoff is great and it stays in place really well. I am looking forward to testing out the deeper shades too.
